Grande Prairie Drillers looking for new recruits

The Grande Prairie Drillers have their Annual General Meeting coming up and are looking to add some more people to their roster. President Jay White says the league has put a deadline of March 1st to find the 24 players they need to be able to play this season.
 
“We want to have at least 24 guys start showing up for indoor practices. If we don’t start seeing that number, we might consider folding the team.”
 
The Drillers indoor practices have already begun at the County Sportsplex in Clairmont. The next practice is being held this Thursday at 8pm with a $10 drop-in fee.
