IDPD ’23

The local IDPD theme is Removing Barriers: The Future is Accessible. It is a reminder that when barriers are removed from one’s path, anything is possible! We all share the responsibility to reduce and remove barriers.

Each year, the Accessibility Advisory Committee of Grande Prairie presents the Inclusive Community Award at the luncheon event. This year’s Keynote Speaker is Brian McPherson – Alberta wheelchair basketball Hall of Famer, paralympic bobsledder & leading cast member on CBC’s docuseries, Push.
