The County of Grande Prairie is looking for feedback on a strategy its developed to help reduce the risk of wildfires and related damage in the region.
As its population increases, they’ve agreed with Alberta Environment that a more formal approach is needed.
While it’s mostly focused on public land, private land owners may be affected, especially if they have property near forested Crown land.
A drop in session for input is being held next Wednesday, March 18 between 5 and 8 p.m. at the Dunes Golf & Winter Club.
