Reward offered for info on garbage truck vandals

A reward is being offered to help find whoever is responsible for vandalizing garbage trucks in the Peace River area. Over the last few months, there have been ongoing reports of damage to vehicles owned by GFL Environmental.

Peace Regional RCMP say it’s most often done overnight before collection days, and in many cases has made the trucks inoperable. Police are now reaching out to the public for help identifying a suspect.

The Town of Peace River and GFL Environmental are offering a reward up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact Peace Regional RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
