Radio and print-a-thon planned to benefit Grande Prairie SPCA

A group of local media outlets have banded together to try to help keep the Grande Prairie and District SPCA open. The organization is in need of $250,000 and plans to close its doors at the end of the month.

Three radio stations and the newspaper will be holding the Save Our Shelter Radio and Print-a-thon May 31st at the Eastlink Centre. 2day FM will be broadcasting live from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in an effort to keep the shelter going in our community.

You can donate on Tuesday by dropping off cash in person at the Eastlink Centre, calling 780-538-4030 or at gpspca.com.
