KidSport Peace Country to host Pizza Pig Out next week

KidSport Peace Country will be hosting its Pizza Pig Out next week, with the goal to raise as much money as possible in a high-demand year.

On Tuesday, October 15, nine different local pizzerias will be competing to win your vote as the best pizzeria in the city.

The money raised from the event will be going towards KidSport Peace Country. Regional Manager, Karna Germsheid says that so far in 2026, the need for their charity is at an all-time high.

“Starting January 2026, we have already granted over $200,000 to families in the Peace Country.”

Tickets to the event isn’t the only way people can get involved either, as there will be raffles and 50/50 tickets.

Additionally, when you are buying tickets online you can make a donation at the same time, with Keddies matching donations up to $2500.

The event will be taking place at the Blue Building Project, with the doors opening at 5.

Tickets can be purchased on the KidSport Facebook page.
