Mother Teresa Catholic School boundaries not changing

Trustees have settled on the boundaries for Mother Theresa and the new St. Catherine School, essentially dividing the city into four quadrants. Mother Teresa will stay as a pre-kindergarten to grade 8 school and will keep its current boundaries.

St. Catherine will include pre-K to grade 8 students in Scenic Ridge and Crystal Ridge, along with those north and west of Highway 43 and east of Range Road 91. Grande Prairie and District Catholic Schools will allow all current students to be grandfathered into the school of their choice, but families will have to arrange for transportation if needed.

A decision about grade 9 to 12 students has been put off until December.
