GPPS looking for help tracking down suspects in alleged armed robbery

The Grande Prairie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying alleged suspects and locating a stolen vehicle linked to an armed robbery in Grande Prairie.

Police say on Nov. 3, at around 8:00 p.m., two masked male suspects entered a business located at 100 Street and 110 Avenue and robbed the store at gunpoint.

During the robbery, police say that the suspects brandished what appeared to be a handgun and a shotgun, pointing the firearms at employees and customers inside the store.

The suspects then fled the scene in a white van, which was last seen travelling northbound on 101 Street.

Investigators are now seeking information regarding the vehicle.  The van is described as a white Chevrolet Express with duct tape covering portions of both rear side panels. Officers believe the tape may have been used to conceal a company logo.

The vehicle was reported stolen on Nov. 2.

GPPS is also asking anyone who can identify the suspects to please come forward.

Anyone with information about the suspects, the vehicle, or the robbery can contact the Grande Prairie Police Service at 780-830-5700.

GPPS recommends to not approach the suspects or the vehicle if located. If you see the vehicle, call 911 immediately and provide its location and direction of travel.
