KidSport Peace Country is urging the community to donate gently used sports equipment during the last week of their equipment drive.
The equipment drive has been taking place throughout the month of July.
KidSport says some of the high demand items include: youth baseball cleats (Sizes Y8–2), baseball bats and gear bags, youth baseball pants (18″–24″ waist), youth rollerblades (Sizes Y8–4), rugby cleats, soccer balls, and basketballs.
Some of the other items KidSport is looking for include: hockey equipment, soccer gear, baseball gloves, and bicycles.
All gently-used items are welcome and will be inspected, safely refurbished, and distributed directly to youth in need.
The equipment can be dropped off at the Westgate Boston Pizza, Canadian Tire, and the Fountain Tire in Whispering Ridge.
Donations will be taken until Saturday, August 2nd.
