JPII placed under hold and secure Friday morning

UPDATE: As of 11:40 a.m., the school campus will remain closed for the time being, while police continue to investigate. In a post made to social media, JPII is telling parents that students and staff remain safe and under the care and supervision of its dedicated school staff. An update is expected to come as more information becomes available.

The St. John Paul II Catholic School is currently under a hold and secure due to a situation outside of the school.

JPII said in a social media post that police are on site, and that regular activities inside the school are resuming.

At this time,  access to and from the building is temporarily paused.

An update is expected as additional information becomes available.
