Peace Health Advisory Council to hold virtual meeting

Grande Prairie residents will be able to share their thoughts and give their input about local health care during a virtual meeting being put on by the Peace Health Advisory Council.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, June 14th from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Zoom, and will include leaders from the Alberta Health North Zone. During the meeting attendees can share any feedback they have regarding healthcare services, which according to AHS could help “inform decision-making in the future.”

The provincial health authority says public participation in these meetings is critical as it helps improve not only the quality of services but also keeps health services accountable.

“Working in partnership with AHS is an important way to ensure services are more responsive to the needs of those who use them.”
