Teepee Creek Stampede kicks off on Thursday

The 2019 Teepee Creek Stampede is one day away and people are gearing up for four days of riding, family activities, food and music.

Things officially kick off on July 11th at 8 a.m. with the Peace Draft Horse Heavy Horse Pull. Then throughout the day, there will be the junior rodeo, the Stampede Queen Horsemanship Competition, the first night of chuckwagon racing and a dance featuring the band LONESTAR.

Then on the 12th, there will be the barrel racing jackpot and the 103rd ProRodeo Canada main performance featuring everything from saddle bronc riding and team roping to bull riding and barrel racing. Mini chucks and pony races will also be held that day followed by an evening concert by Brett Kissel.

Most of the events set for Friday will also be taking place on Saturday including the ProRodeo competition, mini chucks and chuckwagon races. New for that day is the trick riding competition and the Miss Teepee Creek Queen Fashion Show.
