Grande Prairie RCMP and collision analysts are investigating following a three vehicle crash involving a RCMP pick up and a County Peace Officer vehicle. On June 29th around 10 p.m. officers responded to a report of a crash on Highway 2 in Sexsmith.
Police say a van driving southbound on Highway 2 hit an RCMP vehicle stopped on the side of the road. The RCMP truck was then pushed into a County Peace Officer vehicle also parked on the side of the road.
Two RCMP members and a County Peace Officer were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the van was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. No further details are available at this time.
