RCMP in Grande Prairie has arrested a suspicious man they believe is connected with a stolen vehicle.
They were notified that he was in the area of Range Road 65 and Highway 43 Tuesday afternoon, and when police arrived he allegedly tried to escape arrest, leading officers on a foot chase and to an altercation before he could be arrested.
A vehicle was found nearby that’s believed to have been stolen.
20 year old Tyrone Vaughn Wiebe is facing 11 charges, that include resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, and possession of stolen property.

He’ll remain in custody until his court date on August 13th.
