Nine impaired drivers were pulled off the streets of Grande Prairie in just 13 hours last night. The arrests were made between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday, and police are concerned.
Grande Prairie RCMP have issued a reminder to drivers that with summer on the horizon, anyone drinking alcohol needs to arrange for another way home. Officers will be on constant patrol, specifically focusing on finding and taking impaired drivers off the road.
Anyone who suspects a driver is drunk or high is encouraged to call 9-1-1.
