County looking for input on the Growth and Economic Development Plan

The county of Grande Prairie is coming up with a long term plan for growth and is looking for your two cents. The local government will be holding input sessions for their Growth and Economic Development strategy at different places throughout the county today and tomorrow.

Planning & Development Services Director Nick Lapp says it’s important they get as many people as possible to come out as this plan will have a direct effect on every resident for the next fifty years.

Each presentation will be held at 6 with one held at the Teepee Creek Hall on the 26th and the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum on the 27th. There was a session held yesterday in Clairmont at the Grande Prairie Alliance Church.
