A man driving a Lexus with a stolen licence plate has been arrested in the Grande Prairie area. The white Lexus was first spotted speeding out of town on the Weyerhaeuser Road near Highway 40.
When police tried to pull the driver over, they sped off. RCMP looked into the vehicle and found that its plate had been reported stolen from an incident in the city on February 16th.
The car was soon found parked at a well site roughly three kilometres away, and a man was still inside it. 25 year old Kyle Foisy from Ardrossan was arrested and has been charged with several offences. He’ll appear in court on April 5th.
