Construction will begin today on the Muskoseepi trail. The pedestrian bridge west of 72nd avenue and 100th street is expected to be worked on until March. There will be a temporary bridge to allow for people to use the trail system but there could be temporary closures during the construction.
City council has invested around $1.4 million into the replacement of the park’s two pedestrian bridges. This new renovation will bring access to the park for emergency vehicles.
