It’s National Volunteer Week across Canada, and the Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau is honouring the celebration by recognizing local volunteers.
The Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon is being held Friday and will include the presentation of ATCO’s Leaders of Tomorrow Awards, which recognize youth ages 13 to 18 who have made an outstanding contribution to their community.
12 young people will be honoured as Leaders of Tomorrow on Friday.
Tickets for the luncheon are $20 each or $150 for a table of 8.

It is being held in the Auditorium at the People’s Church.
