Marilyn Cramer has been recognized for all of her work with the Special Olympics Alberta Winter Games and the World’s Largest Truck Convoy.
She received the Above and Beyond Award at the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce Centennial Celebration, given each year to someone who acts in compassion reponding to a need within the community.
Also handed out Saturday was the Dan H. Minchin Award for Long-Term Business Achievement to Devco Developments and the Clem E. Collins Award to chamber volunteer Barb Metituk of the Alberta Motor Association.
Don Gnatiuk of GPRC was named Business Citizen of the Year.
