Carnaval de St-Isidore around the corner

Every year, more than 2,000 northern Albertans flock to St-Isadore for its annual celebration of Francophone culture.

The 33rd Caraval de St-Isadore will be held from February 13th through the 15th at the local Cultural Centre and its grounds.

As always, guests will enjoy everything from a sugar shack to sleigh rides, art and ice sculptures, as well as music, dance and theatre performances.

The festival is modelled after Quebec City’s Carnaval, and has again received funding from the federal government – to the tune of $19,000.
