Ducks Unlimited Canada is looking for the public’s input on a new field guide that would help identify and classify wetlands across Alberta.
The group is hoping to connect with people in Grande Prairie who have ideas and feedback on how to make the guide an effective and practical field tool. The input will help determine the content and formatting of the final field guide.
A public consultation session will be held in the city on August 14th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 214 Place South on 102 Street.
Sessions will also be held Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge and Slave Lake. It is hoped that the fully finished field guide will be available for free online by March 31, 2021.
