Grande Prairie RCMP has seized cocaine, meth and two shotguns from a local motel room, and arrested two men.
Officers were checking out reported suspicious activity at a motel across from the Prairie Mall, and were in the process of getting a warrant when the two male suspects returned.
One tried to flee but was caught, and both were arrested at the scene.
A search of their motel room turned up more than an ounce of cocaine, along with the methamphetamine and firearms.
27 year old Rocky Bradley Grey of Grande Prairie and 25 year old Brandon Michael Allen Bjorgan of Edmonton are both in custody and facing possession and weapons charges.
