Three flu-related deaths in Alberta, none from North Zone

Flu season has only just started, but already, three Albertans have suffered flu-related deaths.

Alberta Health Services say one victim was from the south of the province and two from Edmonton.

So far, 30 people have been hospitalized from influenza, including four in the north zone.

So far nearly 35,000 doses of the flu vaccine have been given out in our region, with clinics open at the Eastlink Centre today and all next week.
