Manning woman inducted into Alberta 4-H Hall of Fame

A woman from Manning is one of the newest inductees into the Alberta 4-H Hall of Fame. Nora Paulovich has been volunteering with 4-H for more than 20 years as an organizer, leader and a mentor. Agriculture and Forestry Minister Oneil Carlier says the 4-H program wouldn’t be possible without the help of volunteers like Paulovich.

“The 4-H program would not be possible without the selfless dedication of a group of very passionate volunteers, and this year’s inductees stand as a testament to that. These leaders exemplify how generations of Albertans continue to value and enhance the 4-H program in our province.”

4-H is a youth club that teaches children life skills through hands-on learning. The hall of fame recognizes leaders for their service, mentorship and volunteerism in their communities. Candidates are nominated by their peers and chosen based on their leadership qualities, references and contributions to the group.

Paulovich is joined in this year’s class by Lethbridge County couple Mark and Pat Sayers.
