All staff and students are safe after two Grande Prairie schools were put under hold and secure.
At around 1:12 on Wednesday, officials at Ecole St. Gerard tweeted that the school had been put on hold and secure because police were searching a nearby neighbourhood for suspects.
Parkside Montessori school in the same area was also put on hold and secure.
2Day Fm has confirmed that both hold and secures have been lifted as of 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday.
