A joint operation between ALERT Alberta and RCMP in Grande Prairie, Fairview and Peace River has led to charges against three people. A traffic stop on January 5 led to a search of a Fairview home.

ALERT says Khristopher Ali was arrested during the traffic stop when they say officers found 370 grams of cocaine in the vehicle. Ali was arrested in September of 2017 after a near record setting drug bust.
Alert says they believe he resumed trafficking activities once he was released on bail. Ali is facing seven charges in connection with the latest bust including possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of recognizance.

Also arrested were 24 year-old Riley Salmond and 22 year-old Rebecca Zwick. Alert says after a search of the pairs home in Fairview they face a total of 27 charges related to the possession of drugs, stolen property and firearms.

The total value of drugs seized is almost $70,000 and includes cocaine, marijuana, mushrooms, unknown pills, firearms and cash.
