County crews tackling recent snowfall

The County of Grande Prairie says it’s working at full capacity to clear its roads of the recent snowfall. The hamlet crews have started plowing in La Glace and Clairmont north of 108 Avenue.

Once those roads are done, they’ll head south of 108 Avenue, which includes Whispering Ridge and Westlake Village. Wedgewood will follow. Crews will also be clearing driveways for elderly and physically disabled residents part of the Seniors Snow Plow Program once all major, arterial, and collector roads are done.

Residents are asked to make sure their vehicles aren’t parked on the road when plows come through, and to not pile or push snow from their driveways onto the road.
