City replacing outfall near Maskwôtêh Park

The city will be replacing an outfall along the bypass next week, and it will affect trails in the area. Starting Monday, crews will be lowering the reservoir levels before removing the current structure and replacing it with an updated one.

The outfall is just west of Maskwôtêh Park, which is near the intersection of 108 Street and 116 Avenue by the new hospital. The playground in the park will stay open, and any trail closures will be signed.

An outfall is an area where a body of water empties into the sea, river or lake.
