A 74 year old man has died after his battery-powered scooter was hit by a pickup truck the morning of September 12th. Beaverlodge RCMP say the man was headed east on 11 Street near 4 Avenue when he was hit around 8:22 a.m.
He was taken by ambulance to the Beaverlodge Hospital and later succumbed to his injuries. His next of kin has been notified and police aren’t releasing his identity.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation with the help of a collision analyst from Peace River. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grande Prairie RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
