Three kidnapping victims freed from rural Dawson Creek home

Three people have been freed from a home in the rural Dawson Creek area after allegedly being held against their will. RCMP were called to the home on Saturday, September 2nd, when a woman reported she had been kidnapped and held captive for several days.

Police say two people had escaped, but a third victim was still with their captors. The Emergency Response Team was called for help, and officers found them inside the home. All three have been treated for non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP say they are still investigating the incident, but haven’t released whether any suspects are in custody. They don’t believe there is any risk to the general public.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dawson Creek detachment or Crime Stoppers.
