Grande Prairie blasted through yesterday’s temperature record by nearly five degrees.
It unofficially reached a high of 34.3 degrees Tuesday, smashing the previous record of 29.4 set in 1949.
That’s the third heat record we’ve broken in less than a week, after both Saturday and Monday topped records set in 2007.
Slightly cooler temperatures are forecasted for today, with a high of 25 degrees expected.
