The man accused of a two-month bank robbing spree that ended in Grande Prairie has finally plead guilty. 28 year old Shaun Cornish was arrested at a local motel on January 30th, 2015, just two days after a bank in Dawson Creek was held up. It was the ninth robbery since the beginning of December, and security footage from all showed the same suspect in a toque, sunglasses and black gloves.
Media in Kamloops reports has entered guilty pleas on charges from all nine cities in B-C, Alberta, and Saskatchewan he reportedly went through. It’s expected he’ll be sentenced in the new year.
