The road ban in the County of Grande Prairie has been lifted. One has been in effect for the past month, but the weather has cooled off consistently enough that all gravel roads in the region can return to 100 per cent axle weight.
Road bans are put in place to protect roads during harsh weather, times of thawing, and construction and maintenance.
