The deadline to submit your furry friend towards the Bandaged Paws annual calendar is one week away.
Each year Bandaged Paws taken-in nominations from local pet owners to give them a chance to see their pet in a calendar.
The 2027 calendar will feature six different dogs and six different cats.
Board of Directors member for the Bandaged Paws, Allison Hearn said that once they hit the submission deadline, people will be able to vote on their favourite submissions.
If you submit your pet and they are one of the 12 animals chosen, you will receive a free photo shoot for your furry friend.
Hearn added that a good chunk of the submissions are from pet owners who have adopted from Bandaged Paws before.
“It’s really great to see your animals up on the calendar. We also notice that a lot of the people who submit their animals, have adopted from Bandaged Paws. Everyone at the facility loves seeing updates on how the animals are doing.”
The rescue is hoping that the calendars will be available in November, once the calendar is ready each copy will cost $30.
Hearn says the money raised from the calendars goes right back to better help the rescue, to help cover the costs for things like veterinary care and microchips for the animals.
“All of the money raised goes right back into the facility. We use it to pay for things like the spray and neuter of all the cats and dogs that come into our care.”
The deadline to submit your pet is May 15, the submission form can be found on their website.
