Bandaged Paws seeking volunteers to walk rescues

Bandaged Paws is looking for more volunteers to walk their dogs.

Executive Director at the rescue, Natasha Arsenault says that if someone in the community is looking to get involved with the rescue, that dog walking would be a beneficial impact.

“For dogs, the biggest supports i think the public can lend is volunteering to walk dogs. We are looking for volunteers that can handle some of our bigger dogs that may not have the best leash manners, but they have all the love.”

Currently there is over 10 dogs, and over 10 cats available for adoption.

Arsenault added that currently, many rescues across the province are dealing with an overcrowding of pets.

“There is an epidemic right now in Alberta where there are so many animals in need, that it’s been extremely difficult for rescues across Alberta to find homes for all the animals in our care.”

Donations towards the shelter are always a key impact too, a full wish list of needed items can be found on their website.
