Drugs seized in two Grande Prairie traffic stops

Traffic stops over the past few days have led to charges against two men.

Shortly before midnight on December 10th 27 grams of cocaine was seized from a vehicle pulled over on 100th Street. 24 year old Timothy Collicutt has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, along with failure to comply and obstruction. He was also already wanted on nine outstanding warrants.

Two days later, Idris Ramadan was pulled over near the Great Northern Casino. 141 fentanyl pills, 23 grams of crack cocaine and a large amount of cash was seized by RCMP. The 31 year old has also been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and proceeds of crime over $5,000.

Both men were in court in Grande Prairie this morning.
