Someone attempted to rob a man of his beer at knifepoint Saturday evening in Grande Prairie. The victim was walking home from the Patterson Mall on 84 Ave with a recently purchased case of beer around 8 pm on Saturday.
He was approached by another man who pulled a knife and demanded that he hand over his beer. The victim then punched the suspect and managed to get away. The knife-wielding man is described as Caucasian , about 5’11”, and in his late 20’s with a scar under his right eye, a dark goatee, long dark hair, and wearing a black hoodie.
RCMP searched the Patterson area extensively Saturday evening but were unable to find the suspect. The victim suffered only minor injury as a result. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
