Staff at the Eastlink Centre have adjusted their plans for the cleaning and maintenance of the aquatics facility this fall.
The city recently approved the purchase of a movable floor which will be installed next year. In light of that, this year’s maintenance of the 50 metre pool will be minimal, meaning it will only take a couple of days. The maintenance of most of the pools within the aquatics area will only take a couple of days, so there will be no full shut down.
The Lazy River will take the most work and is expected to be closed until September 25. The 50 metre pool will be shut down from September 16 to 19 and the relaxation tub will be closed from September 21 to 25.
