While fall may not officially be here, it is time to get ready for cooler temperatures. The City has closed the spray parks at Muskoseepi and Lions Park.
Crews turned off the water Tuesday and have started prepping the spray decks for winter. Facilities Maintenance Manager Mick Phillips says it’s important to do so before the first major frost, as freezing water could damage the equipment.
Spray parks normally reopen in Grande Prairie around June first.
