The MD of Greenview and the Government of Alberta have tentatively agreed on an exchange of Highway 666 and Township Road 700.
According to a release from the MD, the two levels of government have made the tentative agreement that would see the local municipality take over Highway 666 from Highway 40 to Grovedale and the and the province receiving Township Road 700 in return.
“This joint initiative aims to finalize the exchange by the end of 2024 while ensuring connectivity for Greenview residents remains in place.”
According to the local municipality, more information including the details of the agreement will be released in the future.
