The South Bear Creek Park expansion, which includes two new ball diamonds at the South Bear Creek Park Baseball Diamond Complex, is complete. The expansion work started in May of 2022 after the city received $800,000 from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, which was used for the project’s completion.
According to the City of Grande Prairie “With the completion of both diamonds, the baseball complex at South Bear Creek Park provides even more space for people to utilize this fantastic facility.”
Residents are being advised some areas have recently been seeded, and so those using the space are being asked to stay out of these areas.
