The County of Grande Prairie will host the world-famous RCMP musical ride for the first time since 2014 later this year. The show will consist of decorated horses ridden by about 35 mounties with 30 to 33 horses available.
The event will be held at Evergreen Park on June 10th and 11th. General Manager Kim Randall says it is thrilling to be a part of the show.
“We were approached by the RCMP. They are doing a tour for their 150th anniversary and Grande Prairie happens to be the stop at that time, so that is why we are hosting the musical ride.”
Tickets will be around $25 for adults, $5 for youth, and children two years and under are free.
