Joint investigation leads to drug trafficking charges

Drug trafficking charges have been laid against six men and woman after a joint investigation by Peace Regional RCMP and the General Investigation Section, McLennan RCMP, and the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team.

Officers have seized methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl. Staff Sergeant Brent Meyer of Peace Regional RCMP argues that people who traffic in those illicit drugs “destroy lives, homes, and communities.”

42 year old Liza Lorraine Roberts and 20 year old Jake Patrick Bouchard of Falher, 26 year old Denton Brodeur and 21 year old Oakley James Pellan of Grimshaw, and 20 year old Michael Peter John Nadeau of Peace River were arrested, along with a youth from Nampa. They have a court date set for today in Peace River.
