Peace Regional RCMP search for theft suspects

Peace Regional RCMP are looking for two suspects after a report of a theft of fuel from the West Hill Business Park. Police say a male and female were syphoning gas from several parked vehicles and then took off in a black Ford F350 on Sunday just after 4 p.m.

A second call came in moments later reporting the suspect vehicle was located stationary in a parking lot off 100 Avenue and 77 Street.  Police say the male driver of the suspect vehicle rammed the caller’s vehicle, exited the driver seat, and sprayed the caller with bear spray before ramming his vehicle a second time and driving away.

The suspect vehicle had been reported stolen to Grande Prairie RCMP the day before and had been involved in a flight from police incident in Clairmont earlier Sunday.

The male suspect is described as having light skin, late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5 foot 8, thin build, dark hair with a thin dark mustache. The female suspect is described as light skinned, late 20’s to early 30’s with long brown hair, medium build and wearing distinct pink skateboard style shoes. Peace Regional RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding the suspects or suspect vehicle, to call the Detachment at 780-624-6677 or your local police.
