Beaverlodge’s Geoff Walker and Team Gushue of Newfoundland of Labrador will be taking on Brad Jacobs of Northern Ontario in the Brier semifinals tonight.
They’re competing in the 1-2 game, with the winner heading directly to Sunday’s championship game.
Meanwhile, Grande Prairie’s Carter Rycroft and Team Canada take on Saskatchewan Saturday in the 3-4 game.
Skip John Morris demoted himself to third, handing over the top spot to Pat Simmons, while GP’s Tom Sallows is in Calgary as a fifth.
Both teams went 7-4 in the round robin, but Saskatchewan is ranked higher as they already beat Canada.
Tomorrow’s game starts at 1 p.m.
