Nominations for the Northwest Alberta Sport Excellence Awards are due in by this weekend.
There are nominations for Female and Male team or athlete of the year, but beyond that, there are also categories for outstanding official, unsung hero, and community spirit.
If you know of an amateur athlete, coach, volunteer, sport leader or supporting corporation who is deserving of recognition, you have until Saturday to nominate them.
The Sport Excellence Awards themselves will be held on March 2015.
