The Earlyact Club of Grande Prairie is teaming up with Bandaged Paws for a new initiative this holiday season. Early Act Club Organizer Danielle Bizon says finding potential forever homes for the animals is the goal.
“If we can help them out at a time where they’re already really full and may not have as many hands on deck to help with other things because everyone else is busy, then that is kind of a great thing.”
Bizon says this is a new opportunity for the Early Act Club, which is like a Rotary Club for youths aged 5 to 13.
“It’s a way to teach them to lead and give back in the community that they’re in, and hopefully that becomes a normal way of life as they grow up and get older.”
The event will take place on December 15th at 9918-121 Avenue and will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m
