Community festival organizers have three more weeks to apply for funding from the City of Grande Prairie.
$70,000 in festival funding was handed out to nine groups in 2013, including the International Street Performers Festival, Alberta Culture Days, the Reel Shorts Film Festival and the East Coast Garden Party.
Anyone interested must apply with a detailed budget and current financial statement by January 2nd.
If there’s money left over after that round, another deadline will be set for October 2nd.
