A bus was carrying St. John Paul II Celtic Academy students on their way to a field trip was involved in a crash on Wednesday.
The bus reportedly collided with part of a semi-trailer while crossing Emerson Trail Road Wednesday morning. All of the students, the teacher and the drivers were assessed by emergency personnel, with no major injuries reported.
However, in a statement, officials from the Grande Prairie and District Catholic Schools are asking parents to monitor their children for any unusual signs. RCMP and First Student Buses, are investigating the incident.
